Nokia Lumia 830 quick review

Nokia Lumia 830 is a new upcoming smartphone by Nokia and it was announced during the IFA at September 2014. It is expected to be in the market in the same month with a price yet not known.

It is equipped with IPS LCD capasitive touch screen of 5 inches and has the resolutions of 720×1280 pixels resolution with 294 ppi density. This is the new handset and it is expected to have new features as well. It is dual SIM handset and supports connectivity on 4G LTE. Physically the handset measures 139.4x 70.7×8.5 mm (5.498 x 2.78x 0.33 in) and carry 150 grams weight.

It is operated by Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 operating system and has the processor quad core 1.2GHz Cortex A7 and has Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 system on chip and Adreno 305 GPU for graphics. We believe it is a capable handset but with moderate specifications in RAM and memory. It carries 1GB RAM and 16 GB on board memory that can be extended up to 32 GB externally. Never the less it is sufficient for a daily use. However you can enjoy good photography with the new handset and will get good results of all the shooting you do; still or video. It has 10 mega pixel camera and it carries good features. It is capable of optical image stabilization, it can do auto focused and LED flash. By using these features users don’t need to put any extra effort while they capturing the images. Only one time camera setting is required and after that every time camera perform these features automatically.

In this new handset we are expecting a Non- removable Li-Lon 2200 mAa battery. The battery provides 528 hours as stand by and 12 hours 54 minutes talk time on 2G and 14 hours and 48 minutes on 3G network. It means handset can remain alive with this battery for more than 20 days and talk time is quite enough to exhaust any exceptionally long caller. You can discus your business details at length and the battery will not fail you causing any interruption at a critical moment. However if you consider it a defect or a weak point to have a non removable battery, well this set is equipped with a non removable battery. Some users may not like it apprehending that any failing in the battery may necessitate the replacement of the entire handset. For more information please visit Nokia Lumia 830 web page.
