HUAWEI HONOR T1 DEEP DIVE QUICKEST REVIEW
Huawei is the leading smartphone makers based in China. The manufacturers always try to satisfy users by providing them quality products in an affordable price. The company has restrictions to promote their products internationally and because of this Huawei focuses to capture the small and medium level markets but now they are at liberty to launch their products globally. Recently company released a mid range affordable tablet in an attractive price. The tablet is known as Huawei Honor T1 and is available in the price of $157.
Design
Huawei have two purposes behind to launch this product. One is to introduce themselves globally and deliver premium product at a reasonable cost. The Huawei Honor T1 come in metal body which gives the premium look to the device and users feel easy to carry this product. According to the measuring dimension the tablet measures 210.6 x 127.7 x 7.9 mm and carries 360 grams of weight.
Display and operating system
Huawei Honor T1 has 8 inches large display. The display type is IPS LCD and has the resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels which delivers 188 ppi pixel densities. The pixel density of the screen is not much impressive but it can be manageable and according to the price the display quality and ppi density is well enough. Huawei honor T1 runs Android OS, v4.3 Jelly Bean with Huawei’s own Emotion users interface version 1.6. This is the basic combination of software and user interface which is easy to use and completely user friendly.
Processor and Memory
Huawei Honor T1 is the basic level tablet and carries basic hardware. It has Qualcomm MSM8212 Snapdragon 200 system on chip combined with Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 and Adreno 302 GPU for graphics. Users can work well with these specs but they still face slow function problem while performing too many tasks at once. In the account of memory the Honor T1 has 1 GB RAM with 16 GB on board memory which can be extended up to 32 GB externally. Users are able to store their data in memory card but they need to clean unnecessary data after using the tablet for maintaining the work ability of the device.
Camera
Like any other device Huawei Honor T1 is also has a pair of camera. The rear camera based on 5 MP having 2592 Ñ… 1944 pixels density and front facing camera is VGA. The other features of the camera are geo-tagging, panorama and have the capable for video recording.
Battery
Huawei placed well enough battery inside the tablet as 4800mAh but the mishap is the battery is Non-removable. Battery gives 300 hours standby time to the device and 10 hours talk time to the talkative persons.
Strong and Weak Points of Honor T1
The strong points of the tablet are reasonable in price, big screen available as 8 inches, well enough hardware configuration and extendable memory option.
The weak points of the device are it runs bit out dated operating system, secondary camera is based on VGA, flash and auto focus features are lacking in the camera and the battery of the tablet is non removable.
Conclusion
We already let the users known that Honor T1 is the low end device and was available in attractive price. According to the specification the tablet fulfills all the basic requirements of the users but for the advance requirement Huawei need to work hard a bit and increase the quality of hardware. But that is common when the quality of hardware increases the cost of the device but Huawei users love to see this change from Huawei.
