Spendbook is feature-rich, clean and easy to use interface. Once you open the app, a variety of color-coded expense/income categories appear with subcategories of each and they cover almost everything you need or you can think of. If you feel the list is incomplete you can edit or add more to it.
To make an expense entry simply swipe down or tap and you only have to enter the amount and with tap on the right category, the entry is filed at its proper place. You don’t have to go through many scroll downs or drop-down menus and solve a puzzle like solution.
You can enter your expenses for the day and can record recurring expenses on regular intervals to remind you for them. You regular expenses are saved to remind you on particular day.
You can see your upcoming expenses in a daily or monthly calendar layout to remind you to be prepared in advance and plan for the expense in time. You can see on daily or monthly basis and not weekly. There is no option. You can add notes in the Spendbook to the transactions to let you be aware what all caused those expenses. There is no feature included to scan your receipts, but the purpose of Spendbook is to make the things easy and simple in regulating your expenses.
You can add photos and short notes explaining the expense, and can easily convert in a chart graph or pie shape depiction of your budget; particularly the expense side of it.
It is fairly useful and easy to use help.
