Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset is 50 Percent more efficient than Exynos 7420 chipset

There is a tough competition between smartphone makers as well as chipset manufacturers. Chipset is an essential part of any mobile phone and a number of manufacturers is in this field, like Samsung, Qualcomm, Huawei, and MediaTek. From all of them Qualcomm is the giant and most of the latest powerful Android smartphones based upon the Snapdragon chipset.  The latest is Snapdragon 820 and its performance is 50% more than Exynos 7420. There is a purpose behind launching this new chipset and it is not only to provide faster and credible speed to the user but also to overcome the overheating issue as in the previous one and win the missing reputation back.

As the year 2015 draws to a conclusion, we're already shifting our sights to what's in store for the first half of next year — mainly a new generation of Android smartphones, powered by Qualcomm's up and coming to Snapdragon 820 SoC. The US chip maker's next flagship platform is commanding increased industry and user interest, for besides the expected two-fold increase in processing power, it's also meant to deliver in all those stretches where the Snapdragon 810 fell short of achieving the targeted goals. A disappointment after a successful streak of fast and efficient chipsets, this one throttled its speeds quickly and heavily to stop itself from overheating and sacrificed battery life.

The rumors on the media have served to increase the enthusiasm in Qualcomm to make the better product to be used in new flagship smartphones. It is a well fact that Samsung and TSMC are likely to join hands as potential manufacturing partners and Galaxy S7 will be powered with this latest and most efficient chipset from Qualcomm.

One Chinese analyst has already commented on the new product and his report on SD 820 proved correct. Though Samsung has been using its own Exynos 7420 in all its smartphones but the new one Snapdragon 810 from Qualcomm is more efficient to the extent of 50% and Samsung is likely to revert back to snapdragon chipset from Qualcomm i.e. Snapdragon 820 SoC. This would be a big change in the performance of the smartphones.

There is another rumor probably quite near to fact that in the meantime is in the process of making a chip of the same power as Snapdragon 820 and would be ready by the start of the next year and would carry the name Exynos M1. It is estimated that devices equipped with Exynos M1 would be meant for Asian markets and the devices for the rest of the global market would be powered with Snapdragon 820 from Qualcomm.

The new hardware from Qualcomm would be using 14nm FinFET process packed with features like Cat 10 LTE support and would be a "complete 4K60 entertainment system" enabling 4K video playback at 60 FPS, a programmable pre/post-processing camera DSP. Qualcomm is bringing all this new technology in the market for much better smartphones and it is with Snapdragon 820. However, presently we can only wait till thing physically happen.

Many Android smartphone makers are testing Snapdragon 820 for use in their products and according to Frank Meng, president of Qualcomm China, 30 different smartphones will be powered with Snapdragon 820. Will all these details it seems the new chip is a revolutionary sort of product.
