Swift key is there to extend its ‘voluntary’ help whether demanded or undesired. Sometime it looks good that your handset is also exerting its ‘mind’ and working hard to keep your syntax in order. Well this is one of the features embedded in its system called prediction algorithms with a good intention of helping you but you may not like the interference into your way of thinking and writing and you may feel irritated and may like to tell it to ‘shut up’ and may like to turn it off.
You cannot undervalue this feature of the SwiftKey and certainly helps who want its help or who enjoy this action; may be they feel it educative in some respects and entertainment sometimes and like to keep it on. Certainly it is one of the most popular and most downloaded apps in the Play Store. Innumerable users are convinced of its text prediction prowess but there are others who feel it unnecessary interruption in your work and you have to recheck before taking action.
Sometimes swiftkey does provide correct suggestions but you may not agree every time and may like to turn it off. You may find it difficult to turn it but following steps will help you in this. Here is how you can do that.
As a first steps Long-press the symbols key. Sure you know the location; it is at the lower left corner of the keyboard and has the SwiftKey sign on it. A menu popup will appear; tap on the “Settings”.
Then tap on the “Advanced” options section that will appear at the bottom. Then Tap on the “Space bar completion mode options”.
The swift key is actually set to “complete the current word”. It completes the word you are typing in different logical suggestions but they may not be your desired word and may feel it a trouble to correct the suggestion. Now you will see “always insert a space” tap on it.
You are done. It will not interfere any more and you can type uninterrupted.
